Gas Leaks
When you smell gas or you notice a gas leak, you should first make sure that all of the gas burners on the stove are turned off. Ensure that all gas appliances are off as well. Once you check those things, then find the gas meter for your house, which is usually located on the side of the house or in the front yard. Turn off the gas valve from there to stop gas from flowing into the house. Then, call us and wait for our gas professionals to get there before doing anything else. We can test for leaks and check the pressure on the lines to determine if there is a gas leak or not. In the event of a leak, we can repair or replace the gas line as necessary.
